Secret Circle fan favorite Phoebe Tonkin has landed a recurring gig on The Vampire Diaries.
Best casting news you've heard today or best casting news you've ever heard? Still, fans of one of the show's core couples may not like who Tonkin is playing, and one blonde vampire may have to watch her man when the former onscreen witch is around.
We've learned that Tonkin is set to take on the role of Hayley, a wild friend from Tyler's (Michael Trevino), who is described as free-spirited and extremely sexy (obviously, have you seen Tonkin?!)
Tonkin will first appear in episode three of the new season when Hayley pays Tyler a surprise visit. Watch out, Caroline (Candice Accola)!
