Watch: Exclusive Footage During Super Bowl Blackout

Booing fans, unstoppable cheerleaders, and a whole lotta wave: As fascinating as the Super Bowl blackout was, the best of the sudden chaos didn't show up on the official broadcast. But E! Newsgot the scoop from the Superdome in New Orleans...and it's all on our exclusive video.

Additionally, New Orleans locals tell us that power goes out at the stadium all the time, so no one who is from the area was shocked about Sunday's blackout during the big game.

With temperatures hovering in the low 60s, and players being asked to stay on the field and not return to their locker rooms, the athletes' biggest priority during the stoppage was keeping warm, with stationary bikes a preferred method. The cheerleaders did their bit by continuing to cheer even as tension mounted and coaches made their displeasure clear. And in the stands, fans amused themselves in various ways, from booing to doing the wave. In a statement about the outage, CBS noted that they did not leave the air, and that "all commercial commitments during the broadcast" were honored. However, normal game play was suspended for 34 minutes.
