It looks like someone might wind up being the envy of, well, everyone.

Just days after 17-year-old Jake Davidson posted a video on YouTube asking Kate Upton to his high school prom, the Sports Illustrated model has responded.

"You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule," Upton tweeted to Davidson.

Naturally, the kid quickly wrote back.

"You truly are incredible," replied Davidson. "Just responding made my year, thanks so much. P.S. Hope your schedule is free!"

But wait, there's more.

While Davidson was disccusing his efforts during an appearance on Wednesday's Today, Upton herself actually called in.

"This just got so much better now that you're on the phone," Davidson told Upton, who replied: "You seem like so much fun and if everything works out, I'd love to go with you. I know we'd have a blast."

We're keeping our fingers crossed for you, Jake.
