It's been said that those who can't do, teach.

And it appears that is exactly the case for disgraced designer John Galliano, who has signed up to teach a new course at Parsons, according to Lucky.

After losing his post as the creative director at Dior following his highly publicized anti-Semitic rant, Galliano has definitely had trouble finding a new gig. And though Oscar de la Renta tried to help a designing brother out by giving Galliano a stint as an artist in residence at his studio in the weeks leading to his fall runway show, the job opportunities didn't exactly come pouring in afterward.

So, Galliano is trading the runway for the classroom—for three days, anyway. His three-day Show Me Emotion master course will "engage its participants by provoking the power of emotion in context of fashion practice," according to the course description.

We're sure Parsons' latest professor will elicit strong emotions from the fashion community, who still hasn't forgotten Galliano's racist tirade.

What do you think? Does Galliano deserve a second chance?
