Two days after attending the glamorous 2013 Met Gala in NYC, the 24-year-old "Fine China" singer surprised some local fans by hitting Harlem's public basketball courts.
"Went back to my hood today! #136th amsterdam ()harlem," Brown tweeted with a pic of himself surrounded by a group of young fans, who were visibly excited to see the star.
One fan posted a video of Brown, who looked sporty in black basketball shorts and white tank, playing basketball with the caption, "Im watching Chris brown play basket ball!!!!!"
Another shared a shot of Brown high-fiving neighborhood kids with the caption, "Harlem 136th my hood... Balling showing love #luvaboy #ohb."
Brown also recently took to Twitter to make a shout-out to his Met Gala pals, writing, "Big thanks to Ricardo Tisci and the amazing team at @Givenchy for a great night. Suit- @Givenchy. Shoes- @DonaldJPliner."
