Wow.

With the Grammys being music's biggest night, it's always gratifying when a musical performance proves to be absolutely everything you would expect and more, so when Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons took the stage, viewers were very pleased.

Forget the fact that these two don't even have a song together, but the artists are from completely different genres. With K.Dot holding it down in the rap game and Imagine Dragons climbing up the rock charts, this pairing may have seemed a bit odd, but any and all doubt quickly vanished when we saw just how perfect they were together.

The performance was a mashup of the band's Record of the Year nom "Radioactive" with "M.A.A.D City" from Lamar's album Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, which was nominated for the Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.

With Kendrick's phenomenal stage presence and Imagine Dragons' energy, this pair gave one of the best showings of the night (maybe ever?!). Taylor Swift couldn't help herself from standing up and head-bobbing to the beat, and soon after, everyone was following along.

Beyoncé and Jay Z, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton and practically every big name in the room got to their feet and danced along to the mesmerizing performance.

Thank you, Kendrick and Imagine Dragons. This is what the Grammys is all about!
