Gisele Bündchen Faces Off With Victoria's Secret, Both Lingerie Brands to Open Stores in Brazil in May 2014

Model expands retail presence around the world with intimates collection, competes with major mall retailer who made her famous

Now this what we call a sexy showdown!

According to Bloomberg, top supermodel and famous Victoria's Secret Angel Gisele Bündchen is going head to head with the Victoria's Secret brand in Brazil later this year.

That's right, the gorgeous bombshell is coincidentally timing her first lingerie store opening in São Paolo in May, which just so happens to be the very month the major mail retailer will set up shop in the city as well.

Um, awkward! 

Not only will São Paolo ladies have their pick from plenty of pretty bras and panties this spring, it will be interesting to see which brand will actually prove more popular among the locals.

Bündchen has partnered with Hope, a lingerie maker to build out her line and retail presence, and it looks like she's ready to conquer competitors, no matter who they are.

She even Instagrammed a sexy pic of herself modeling the line earlier this week, piquing our interest more than ever.

While we couldn't be happier for the Gisele Bündchen Intimates line and aggressive global expansion with new brick and mortar spaces, we can't help but think this might add a twinge of tension to her relationship with the popular brand she's been fronting for since 2007.
