President Barack Obama is ready for anything!

While walking down the stairs from Air Force One in Austin on Thursday, the commander in chief saved wife Michelle Obama from having a major wardrobe malfunction.

As the cute couple climbed the staircase, a gust of wind blew the first lady's skirt up into the air. But fear not. The president kept his hand near Michelle's legs to make sure the wind didn't fly too high and reveal her undergarments.

Michelle didn't seem fazed by the almost-fashion accident. Both she and Barack were smiling and laughing during the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Michelle looked her fashionable self in the chic blue and black skirt paired with a cream top and sweater. As for the prez, Barack donned a dark suit with a white shirt and blue tie.

The Obamas were in Texas yesterday to attend a Civil Rights Summit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act.
