Well, this is kind of the worst possible outcome.

It's also the perfect plot for a Lifetime original movie. So we're going to tell it as such, because we don't know what else to do with this info. Below, the soon-to-be-adapted I Accidentally Married My Brother.

EXT. THE BEACHES OF BRAZIL - EVENING

We open on a shot of a happy couple, Adriana, 39, and Leandro, 37, frolicking on the beach. They kiss as the sun sets behind palm tress. "It's like we've known each other our entire lives," one of them would probably say. Have you ever seen a couple more in love?

Adriana and Leandro were both given up by their mother(s) as infants and bonded over their shared desire to find their birth mom(s) throughout their 10-year relationship. This week, she did.

And, uh, he did.

A radio show called The Time Is Now, which reunited long-lost relatives, sets up a reunion with Adriana and her mother, Maria. It is there that Maria tells Adriana that she has a little brother too, a brother Adriana never knew about.

His name is Leandro.

ADRIANA ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED HER BROTHER AND THEY'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR TEN YEARS AND HAVE A 6-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER TOGETHER. THIS SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING THAT ONLY HAPPENS IN A LIFETIME MOVIE, BUT DON'T FORGET THIS ISN'T JUST BASED ON A TRUE STORY, IT IS A TRUE STORY.

Gawker explains:

Adriana had suspected something like this after seeing their mother's name, Maria, on one of her husband's two birth certificates, but she thought the reunion would put those fears to rest, not confirm them.

"We thought it was funny that both our mothers had the same name, but it is a common name so we just thought it was a coincidence," she told Daily Mail. Of learning that her husband is her brother, she says, "At first we were really knocked by it all."

But they're staying together. "Only death is going to separate us," Adriana says. "All this happened because God wanted it to happen." At this point you turn the movie off because WTF.
