It seems all the signs are pointing to splitsville for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

While the 44-year-old singer was busy performing in Tokyo over the weekend—where she poignantly changed the lyrics to one of her hit tunes amid rampant rumors of the couple's marital woes—her husband of six years was busy working out in Studio City, Calif., although there was one thing noticeably absent from his chiseled physique: the actor's large Mariah tattoo.

The 33-year-old comedian debuted a large crucifixion tattoo on his back as he exited the gym sans shirt and appeared unafraid to flaunt his new ink which completely covered up Cannon's tribute tat to his wife.

While the father of two has made no mention of his attempt to conceal his Mariah tattoo, the photos of the TV personality have surfaced just one day the songstress made headlines for altering the lyrics to Billie Holiday's classic song "Don't Explain" during her most recent concert.

Instead of singing "And I know you cheat/ Right or wrong, don't matter," the pop star can be heard crooning, "I know you cheated, motherf--ker," causing many to speculate that infidelity may have led to the pair's marital strife.

Meanwhile, a source told E! News on Monday that Carey still plans to split from Cannon, adding that the diva has reached a definitive decision. "She has made up her mind," the source told E! News exclusively. "She is definitely divorcing him."

Last month, an insider revealed to E! news that the couple is headed for a breakup, in spite of the rapper's hopes for a second chance. "Mariah has started the divorce process. She's getting all her ducks in a row," the source said.

For now, Mariah is busy focusing on her music and is currently traveling overseas for her Elusive Chanteuse tour. She is expected to head to South Korea this week and will then perform in multiple cities in China before hitting up several other countries in Asia.

Mariah and Nick secretly wed in the Bahamas in 2008 after just six weeks of dating. Exactly three years later, they welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom they affectionately refer to as "Dem Babies."
