The Full House alumna is expecting her second child with husband, musician Alec Puro, her rep confirms to E! News.
"Alec and I are beyond excited to be adding to our family and can't wait for Elliotte to be the best big sister ever (no pressure!)," the expectant star told People magazine who first broke the news.
The timing works out perfectly for the Hollywood actress. The 33-year-old recently wrapped up a season of her new hit show The Fosters.
In addition, Sokoloff and her husband are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary next month. We'd say a new baby isn't the worst gift a happy couple could ask for.
The proud mom has been open about her hopes to have a big family. In her celebrity baby blog for People, Sokoloff shared her hopes at having more than one child.
"Obviously Alec and I want to have another child and talk about adding to our family all of the time," she said back in March 2013. "I just think I maybe need another birthday to pass before we start the real-deal discussion."
Sokoloff delivered her first baby back in February 2010. She allowed readers to follow her pregnancy, including their daughter's frightening lung condition, throughout the experience.
"In the grand scheme of things, these nine months went by pretty quickly," she recalled. "Yes, there were weeks that seemed endless and yes, I'm currently complaining about my feet swelling up like balloons and the general discomfort that comes with the end of pregnancy—but all in all the journey has been one that I will never forget."
Fans of Sokoloff know the Hollywood star from her role as Gia on Full House. She also starred in memorable projects including The Practice, Dude, Where's My Car?, Sugar & Spice, and Whatever It Takes.
