The singer-actress appeared to be mixing business with pleasure Thursday when she stole a kiss from Scorpion co-star Elyes Gabel in between takes on set in L.A. Cute, yes, but possibly a little complicated...
Reason being? McPhee, 31, is still in the midst of divorcing Nick Cokas. The former American Idol contestant filed for divorce last May after six months of marriage. She and Cokas were already separated prior to her filing—but the exact date of that separation has been disputed amongst them.
Reason being? In October 2013, photos surfaced of McPhee kissing her married Smash director Michael Morris (who has three daughters with his wife, actress Mary McCormack). According to McPhee, she and Cokas were already separated at this point—he claimed, however, they were separated at a later date. (Timing is very important in this split because it determines how the couple's money will be split.)
Regardless, Morris reconciled with his wife following the illicit smooch but McPhee and her hubby clearly did not. She does appear pretty smitten with her Scorpion co-star, though. McPhee and Gabel were also snapped locking lips on set back in August, too.
