Awards season is off to a strong start!

The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards took place tonight at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel, putting a number of Hollywood's A-listers all under one roof. And you know what that means? Yes, there were plenty of awards given out (obvs), but there was even more memorable moments!

Here are some highlights from the 2015 Golden Globe Awards...

Best Opening: It's Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Did you expect anything less than a hilarious monologue that we will cherish (and quote/GIF/etc.) forever?

Benedict Turns Fanboy: You know how we get all flustered by Benedict Cumberbatch? Well, turns out he gets that way about Jennifer Aniston (as witnessed by viewers when the duo presented the first award)—and it's so cute!

Fifty Shades of Grey Hits the Globes: Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan presented together, and whaddya know? Anastasia Steele, er, Dakota Johnson wore a sparkly gray dress. Well done, Dakota.

J.Lo's "Globes": Sneaky, Jeremy Renner. The actor refers to Jennifer Lopez's breasts as "globes" while presenting an award together. "I have the nails," Lopez said about opening the envelope. "You have the globes, too," Renner responded.

Standing O: Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Theo Kingma received a standing ovation when he made a speech touching on the recent Paris attacks on magazine Charlie Hebdo and the Sony hack. "The freedom of artistic expression...is a beacon across the globe...We stand united everywhere from North Korea to Paris," he said.

Ladies Love Prince: No, really. The ladies (and some gents) still fangirl over Prince.

Bombshell Win!: Gina Rodriguez snagged her first nom and first win for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy for Jane the Virgin and gave a speech that made everyone grab a Kleenex.

Adele Dazeem Lives On: After roasting a number of A-listers and explaining that, "Famous people are above the law," Ricky Gervais made sure to note that pronouncing Quvenzhané Wallis was difficult, and then brought up John Travolta's famous flub. "I still watch that every day on YouTube. It's brilliant, isn't it?"

Kristen Wiig Does De Niro: The Saturday Night Live alum and Bill Hader gave a funny spoof on "classic movie lines" (by botching them all), but the best part was when Wiig attempted to impersonate Robert De Niro. It wasn't very good, but we loved it anyway.

Chrissy's Ugly Cry: The sweet moment when Chrissy Teigen made this face when hubby John Legend won a Golden Globe.

We Love Paul Rudd: The hunky star took the stage with Adam Levine and introduced himself as Blake Shelton. So cute, he is.

Bleep Alert: Thank you, Kevin Spacey, for giving us a naughty word tonight. The Golden Globe winner said, "I can't f--king believe I won!"

HEARTS EXPLODING: George Clooney was the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille award, and during his always thought-provoking speech, he took the time to praise his wife Amal in a way that made even the hardest of hearts soften. "It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love," he said. "Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband." Awwwwwwww!

No Spoiler: Viewers were curious to see if the Golden Globes website really did spoil some of the winners, but it turns out, The Grand Budapest Hotel wons Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, not Into the Woods like it stated. The same was true for Best Motion Picture, Drama, which was awarded to Boyhood.
