Just two days after E! News exclusively revealed that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are engaged, the Vampire Diaries co-star and ex girlfriend Nina Dobrev enjoyed a girls night out at the launch of the Nine Zero One Salon on Melrose Place.
The 26-year-old beauty attended the salon opening with BFF Julianne Hough and close pal Zelda Williams, where she was seen making silly faces in the photo booth with salon co-owners Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee as well as Vanessa Lachey (who recently welcomed her second child!) Ashley Tisdale and Jennifer Morrison.
According to a source, Dobrev showed no signs of being upset by her ex's recent engagement and was in fact "in great spirits" at the salon opening.
"She was chatting with a bunch of people, doing the photo booth," the insider said, adding that "she seemed really happy!"
Neither Reed nor Somerhalder have yet to confirm their engagement, which occurred after a whirlwind six months of dating. The pair first coupled up in July, just four months after Reed announced her separation from then-husband Paul McDonald and nearly one year after Somerhalder and Dobrev called it quits.
The Vampire Diaries co-stars, who also play onscreen lovers, split in July 2013 after over three years of dating, although they have apparently maintained an amicable relationship. The two even joked about their breakup during the 2014 People's Choice Awards when they accepted the honor for "Best Chemistry" and Dobrev later told E! News that her ex is "a great person."
Surprisingly enough, Reed and Dobrev were actually close friends before the Twilight actress began seeing her ex, and shortly after their romance was revealed, the brunette stunner took to her WhoSay page to post a series of inspirational quotes.
"Beauty is the opposite of perfection. It's about confidence, charisma and character," one message read while another said "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
While Dobrev is seemingly doing just fine following the news of the duo's upcoming I-do's, the actress can always count on her besties for love and support.
