Welcome to Instagram, Liam Hemsworth!
The 25-year-old actor has joined the photo-sharing site while simultaneously sharing that he'll be starring in the upcoming Muppets comedy series.
"Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world. Kermit, #SorryNotSorry. #TheMuppets #misspiggy," he captioned his first Instagram shot in which he's gazing lovingly into Miss Piggy's eyes.
While no further information was provided about Hemsworth's role, Entertainment Weekly reports that the Hunger Games hottie will play himself in the forthcoming ABC show.
And considering Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy split earlier this month, many are speculating that Hemworths may be the spotlight-loving swine's new love interest.
"After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Kermit the Frog and moi have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship," Miss Piggy previously wrote on Facebook. "We will continue to work together on television (The Muppets/Tuesdays 8 p.m, this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter...unless we get the right offer. Thank you for your understanding."
Previously announced guest stars for the show's first season reportedly include Reese Witherspoon, Elizabeth Banks and Imagine Dragons. The Muppets premieres on Sept. 22.
