Kourtney Kardashian and Kanye West have been dealing with a very emotional situation the past few days, but managed to step out so their little ones can enjoy a day of racing.

E! News has learned that the brunette beauty and her three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick, joined the rapper and daughter North West at Tyga's son's birthday party at Racer's Edge Indoor Karting in Burbank, California on Friday. That day, Lamar Odom emerged from a coma after being hospitalized three days prior.

King Cairo rang in his third birthday with quite a star-studded event.

"Kylie was there with Tyga, Kourtney was there with all three of her kids and a nanny and Kanye arrived a few minutes after Kourtney, carrying North in his arms," a source told E! News. "Travis Barker brought his kids and Chris Brown was there with [daughter] Royalty as well."

"Everyone had a really good time considering the circumstances," the source told E! News. "It was a good distraction to be watching the kids having fun and being out and about."

The party had a Paw Patrol theme and King Cairo wore a Paw Patrol necklace. The kids wore special race car sunglasses.  A Company 77 fire truck was parked in the parking lot and provided pizza and salads. The children got to climb up on the firetruck and check out all of the equipment and also played on a huge inflatable slide.

"North was fearless and went down all by herself," the source told E! News. "Chris Brown climbed up the slide and sent Royalty down by herself too. They all seemed amazed at their kids and were really having fun. All the adults got to be kids again and they seemed to like that."

"Tyga climbed up into the firetruck with King Cairo," the source told E! News. "There was an adorable Dalmatian dog inside the truck that was licking Tyga's face and resting his chin on his shoulder. He got a kick out of that. Tyga was eating salad and carrying King around making sure he had fun," the source added. "Kylie was eating Pizza and seemed relaxed as she was chatting with her friends."

Inside the facility, the kids "turns driving go karts all by themselves," the source said, adding, "They were spinning around and bumping into each other. They all had a blast."

King's famous daddy and his mom Blac Chyna also took to Instagram to wish their little one a happy birthday, along with Breezy and his "auntie" Amber Rose.

E! News previously reported that Yeezy was on daddy duty and uncle duty while family members jet to Las Vegas to be by Lamar Odom's side at the hospital.

A source close to the family told us on Thursday that the rapper put a pause on his busy schedule to take care of Nori as well as Kourt's three children while she and Kim Kardashian stayed at the hospital where Odom remained in critical condition.

West lent a hand in watching Mason, Penelope and Reign while their dad, Scott Disick, seeks treatment in a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol abuse—news that broke Wednesday amid all the chaos surrounding Odom. Kourtney returned to Los Angeles yesterday and the family was greeted with especially wonderful news today.

E! News exclusively reported earlier today that Odom was no longer in a coma, and opened his eyes, saw Khloé Kardashian, who has been by his bedside the entire time, said, "Hey, baby," gave her a thumbs up and then went back to sleep. The source told us he is no longer using a breathing tube, while another source told E! News Odom is speaking and functioning.

Looks like there are plenty of reasons to celebrate today!
