Jessie James Decker's sister, Sydney Rae Bass, is finally bringing home her little bundle of joy. After spending just over 2 months in the NICU, Sydney and her husband, Anthony Bass, came home with baby Brooklyn Rae Bass on Monday.
"Finally complete. Our little family," Sydney wrote underneath the family photo posted Monday night on Instagram.
Sydney detailed Brooklyn's birth and her new family's journey in the NICU on her Instagram page. Brooklyn, a preemie, was born when Sydney was just 28 weeks along.
Just a few days after giving birth to baby Brooklyn, Sydney shared this heartfelt message about the emergency delivery.
"Yesterday was one of the hardest days. I never imagined having an emergency c-section at the start of the 3rd trimester and I never thought when I left the hospital I'd be leaving my baby behind. I am so incredibly in love with my daughter and so blessed she came when she did," Sydney wrote in an Instagram post from Sept. 9.
Despite spending most of their time in the hospital, the family made the most of it, even celebrating Halloween in the NICU dressed as Snow White and her dwarfs.
"Snow White and her Dwarfs- Grumpy & Doc #firsthalloween #nicuhalloween," Sydney captioned the photo.
Playdates with little Vivianne Rose Decker, 3, Eric Decker Jr., 2 and Brooklyn's Godmother, Jessie, are surely in the works now that Brooklyn is home to stay. Check out Sydney's Instagram for more adorable pics of baby Brooklyn.
