Denzel Washington is doing just fine, thank you very much.

The Oscar winner is the latest Hollywood star to fall victim to that notorious celebrity death-pranking site, Global Associated News, known for generating fake news reports that spread like wildfire online.

So what unfortunate end did Washington supposedly meet?

Did he a.) fall off a cliff in New Zealand ála Jeff Goldblum and Tom Cruise?  b.) kick the bucket in a yachting mishap off St. Tropez like Harrison Ford? or c.) die in a freaky snowboarding accident in the grand tradition of Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson and most recently, Luke Perry?

If you said "c," you guessed right—though the "facts" continue to be untrue.

Need more reassurance? Washington's publicist Alan Nierob let us know the rumors of Denzel's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

"He is working on location in Atlanta currently," Nierob tells E! News.

Whew! The thesp next appears on the big screen opposite Ryan Reynolds in the thriller Safe House, hitting theaters in February.
