Wyatt Knight, who played bad boy Tommy Turner in the '80s trilogy Porky's, was found dead in Hawaii last week after apparently committing suicide.

"I can confirm that Wyatt Knight did in fact end his life on Oct. 25, in Maui, Hawaii," his wife, Silvina, said in a statement obtained by E! News. "The family is choosing to keep the details private."

Police reportedly discovered the 56-year-old actor's body the following day in an isolated area near the house where he had been staying.

The results of an autopsy have not yet been released.

Knight's manager, Eileen O'Farrell, told E! News that she is in complete shock over the news and has been trying to contact Maui police to get more information.

"I haven't received any confirmation myself. I'm so surprised—sick—over this," O'Farrell said. "I can't believe it."

In addition to the Porky's movies, Knight made numerous appearances on the small screen in shows such as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Chicago Hope, Pacific Blue and Profiler.

Per IMDb, his most recent role was playing a network executive in a series called Crafty.
