John Stamos can rest easy now. Justice has been served.

Scott Sippola and Allison Coss, the Michigan duo convicted in July of trying to blackmail the Glee star with some supposedly compromising photos of him, were sentenced Friday to four years in federal prison.

Stamos, who testified against them as a witness for the prosecution, wasn't able to attend the sentencing in person, but his lawyer read a statement on his behalf.

"I was forced to watch the defendants slander me with impunity," the thesp said, noting the couple's scurrilous testimony was then reported on by the press.

The 31-year-old Sippola and 24-year-old Coss were arrested last December after threatening to sell embarrassing pictures they claimed they had of Stamos cavorting with strippers and cocaine at a 2004 party unless he paid them $680,000. The nice-guy actor's camp adamantly denied the allegations, and according to the feds, no such photos ever existed.

In addition to time in the big house, the judge gave Sippola two years of supervised probation and fined him $15,000. Coss, who burst into tears upon learning her fate, received one year of supervised release but escaped a fine. Both were taken into custody immediately following the hearing.

No doubt Stamos is happy to put this behind him.

Between playing Emma Pillsbury's love interest, Carl Howell, on Glee, the former star of Full House and ER appeared as himself this summer on Entourage, and he's also announced that he'll be producing a big-screen Beach Boys musical.
