Well, somebody was flush with cash. At least judging by the fact that John Lennon's loo brought considerable loot at an auction in Liverpool, England, according to a report from Reuters.
Hauling in $14,740 from an unknown buyer, about 10 times the pre-auction estimate, the blue-and-white porcelain throne had been removed from Lennon's home in Berkshire back in the late '60s.
Sure, it's pretty and all, but that's a mighty high price to pay for brush with um, greatness.
